3 改善预后的新策略
3.1 人类绒毛膜促性腺激素和促红细胞生成素
人类绒毛膜促性腺激素(human chorionic gonadotropin，hCG)可以促进内源性神经干细胞的增殖，而促红细胞生成素(erythropoietin，EPO)可以促进这些细胞分化成神经干细胞，最近在二者联合治疗中风大鼠的随机试验中，把大鼠分成4个治疗组：hCG+EPO，hCG+Saline，Saline+EPO，Saline+Saline，结果发现：与其他三组比较起来，使用hCG+EPO治疗的大鼠总损害的体积降低了82%～89%，这个治疗策略改善了行为学预后并且降低了中风24 h后的时间窗内损害的体积[34]。在改善中风患者的预后中联合使用这两个生长因子是一个新的治疗策略。
3.2 脑钠肽
在急性中枢神经系统损伤的小鼠中，脑钠肽(brain natriuretic peptide，BNP)是升高的，它可能通过脑血流量的放大在动物的功能恢复中扮演着一个适应性角色，在脑损伤和ICH的急性期使用BNP治疗后一些炎症标志物、活化的小胶质细胞和神经元的变性都出现了降低。BNP在改善长期的功能恢复中或许是一个新的治疗策略[35]。

3.3 神经干细胞
初步的研究表明，神经干细胞移植对于脑出血患者的功能恢复提供了有希望的结果[36-37]。
在美国，1993～2005年期间在ICH的治疗和防治方面没有任何明显的进步，ICH的治疗和预后没有区域性的差别[38]。急性期防止血肿扩大的药物疗法在衰减血肿的扩大方面获得了有意义的进步，但它们的安全性及对预后的影响仍然需要大规模的对照试验进一步证实，外科干预对ICH预后的影响仍然是不确定的。在ICH治疗指南的基础之上加用不断完善的优化治疗有利于患者预后的改善，干细胞治疗有望改善患者的功能性预后。
